Austrian Philharmonic in Tehran to Perform Concerts

TEHRAN The Austrian Waidhofen Philharmonic is currently in Tehran to perform concerts.

Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, the director of the philharmonic said that his 96-member orchestra will perform concerts aimed at improving cultural relations between the two nations.

This Austrian musician further noted that cultural and artistic relations between the two countries will lead to more extensive cooperation in other areas as well.

The Austrian Philharmonic will perform the works of Beethoven, Strauss, Alireza Mashayekhi and Kohl in Tehran April 17-18.
